Welcome to River Kids!
God has a special love for children. Jesus always took time out to bless the children. At River of Life we have a tremendous love for children and provide something for every age group where they can learn about our Lord at their level.
We have a brand new look with lots of fun and great worship, relevant and fun Bible stories and object lessons. Currently, we are going story-by-story through the Bible!
Check in is through the main doors and to the right, just past the cafe.
River Kids Services:
8:00AM.
River Kids only offers a service for children 1st-5th grade during 1st Service at 8:00AM.
9:30AM & 11:00AM.
During 2nd & 3rd Services River Kids offers a service for all children Birth-5th grade.

Our children's ministries are growing here at River Of Life and we need more help!
We have been unable to offer childcare during our 8:00AM service for our younger age groups because we don't have enough help.
Serving in River Kids is fun and exciting! If being around kids isn't for you, we also need help at our kids check-in desk or running the computer in the Children's room sound booth!
Areas to serve include:
- Raindrops Room (Age 0-1)
- Volunteers supervise, hold, or sit with with babies as they play, crawl, or nap.
- Puddle Jumpers Room (Age 2-3)
- Volunteers supervise/interact with toddlers as they play, and serve them at snack time.
- Riptides Room (Age 4-K)
- Volunteers supervise kids as they play, serve snack time, help with craft time, and teach a Bible lesson.
- Rapids Room (Age 1st - 5th Grade)
- Volunteers help pass the offering buckets, count the offering, play with the children/supervise the game room (basketball, carpetball, air hockey, and other games), help kids find and read verses in their Bibles, help pass out kids binder notebooks during the kids sermon, help with game time, and participate in praise and worship with the kids.
- Other volunteer positions include running the sound and computer in the sound booth during our children's service.
- Kids Check-in station.
- Volunteers greet parents, type in the names of children on our check-in laptops, and print their name tags for service.

Check-In
Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the start of service:
- 7:45am for 1st service
- 9:15am for 2nd service
- 10:45am for 3rd service
Your child is important to us. On your first visit, we will have you sign in as a one time guest. You will be given a welcome form from River Kids explaining the rooms and ages we serve along with a registration form that should be filled out that includes the following information:
parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birth-dates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child.
Please drop the registration form off at the Welcome Center after worship service and we will enter the information into our River Kids database to help maintain our secure check-in system. The next time you come to check you children in, the system will have your child's information and you will be able to check-in quickly.
We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and will display the unique code on the front screens for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship service.

Bible Lessons: In Rapids, we are going story by story through the Bible! Our kids each have their own binder with fill-in-the-blanks for each Sunday sermon so they can learn to take notes and follow along. Fill-in-the-blanks are provided for new kids too, and if you come for 4 weeks in a row, then you'll get your own binder with all your sermon notes inside.
Where's-It-At: Every Sunday we do a "Where's-It-At" challenge where we put a Bible verse on the screen and every kid has to look it up and read it in their own Bible. This not only encourages kids to bring their own Bible, but also helps them to learn how to look up scriptures and read them on their own! (Bibles are provided for kids who don't have one, but you'll get extra points if you bring yours from home!)
Worship: We love to worship Jesus, and want to teach our River-Kids what it means to worship God in spirit and in truth. We usually sing at least two songs of worship every service in the Rapids River Kids room.

Camp is amazing, and every year we see so many of our kids' lives changed for Jesus!

We played some crazy games, competeted hard, worshiped harder, and grew closer in our relationship with Jesus.
This year we were the blue team and we won Camp Champs! (For the 3rd year in a row!) Go RiverKids!

In the beginning of 2022, our children's offering went to support Mike and Sonja Trei - a missionary couple who preach the Gospel to the people of Peru in South America!
Mike and Sonja Trei must travel by boat on the rivers of the jungle to reach the different tribes in Peru with the gospel. There are no roads to most of the villages they travel to.
